Professor SU Bai 宿白, renowned scholar at School of Archaeology and Museology at Bejing University, passes away

Professor SU Bai 宿白, just passed away due to sickness in morning of February 1, 2018, aged 96.

Prof. Su Bai is the primary person to establish the archaeology discipline at Beijing University, and one of founders of Chinese archaeology. He worked at the University for over 70 years, and has educated many generations of archaeologists and art historians, directly or indirectly, across China and in other countries.
